The world feels unstable, prophecies seem to be aligning, and Christians everywhere sense a stirring in their spirit. Jesus told us He would return, and the Bible gives us clear signs to watch for—not so we would panic, but so we would be ready.

Mission organizations report that Bible translation, digital evangelism, and satellite broadcasting have brought Scripture to nearly every people group. The Great Commission nears completion.
Increase in Lawlessness and Love Growing Cold
Paul warned Timothy that in the last days, people would be “lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive” (2 Timothy 3:2). Jesus said that because of the increase of wickedness, “the love of most will grow cold” (Matthew 24:12).

What lasts? Souls saved, disciples made, prayers prayed, love shown, and obedience rendered. Pour your energy into what survives the fire.
Live Blamelessly
Paul prayed in 1 Thessalonians 5:23 that believers would be kept “blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” This does not mean sinless perfection, but it does mean pursuing holiness with all our hearts.

No one will miss it. No one will need a news report to confirm it.
The Dead in Christ Will Rise First
Paul comforts believers in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 by explaining that the dead in Christ will rise first, then those who are still alive will be caught up together with them in the clouds. Death does not get the final word for those who belong to Jesus.
Graveyards will empty, and glorified bodies will rise to meet the Lord. What a reunion that will be.
Judgment Will Begin
Jesus will separate the sheep from the goats (Matthew 25:31-33). Those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life will enter eternal life, but those who rejected Christ will face eternal separation from God (Revelation 20:15).
This is not a popular teaching, but it is a biblical one. Hell is real, and the stakes could not be higher.
He Will Make All Things New
Revelation 21:5 records Jesus saying, “I am making everything new!” Sin, death, sorrow, and suffering will be abolished forever. The curse will be lifted, and God will dwell with His people in a new heaven and new earth.

Are You Ready?

Know Him Personally
John 17:3 says, “Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.” Religion will not save you, church attendance will not save you, and good behavior will not save you.
Only a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, rooted in repentance and faith, secures your eternity. Do you know Him, or do you just know about Him?
Examine Your Heart
Paul urges believers to “examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith” (2 Corinthians 13:5). Self-deception is easy, but eternity is long.
Does your life show evidence of genuine faith? Do you love what God loves and hate what He hates? Is there fruit, or just religious noise?
Repent and Believe
If you sense the Holy Spirit convicting you, do not harden your heart. Romans 10:9 promises, “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
